At the February meeting of Sydney Presbytery Executive one of the topics of discussion was the proposed transfer of many of the responsibilities of the presbytery level Pastoral Relations Committee to the conference.

Jim Steele, our presbyter from St. Ann's Bay, has closely examined and analyzed the proposal and prepared a document for thePastoral Relations Committee. This document has been sent to presbyters for their information. In addition, several members of Sydney Presbytery will attend a presentation on the proposal in Sackville. They will report at the March meeting of Presbytery. If you have not already responded to the online survey on the proposal, remember that you have until February 15 to do so.
