Description
This picture shows the steel plant in the background and Victoria Road in the foreground. Along that main street through Whitney Pier there can be seen Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, Trinity United Church, and St. Alban's Anglican Church, all within three city blocks of each other. The picture was featured on one of the United Church bulletin covers in 1965 under the heading "The Church in an Industrial Society."
